Vakhtang Andguladze

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

In 2020, Mr. Andguladze took up the position of Consul General at the Consulate General of Georgia in Bari.

From 2017 to 2020 he was Counselor for Political Affairs and Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Georgia in Sofia, Bulgaria.

From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Andguladze was assigned as Embassy Counselor at the Embassy of Georgia in Rome, performing the functions of Head of the Consular Chancellery.

He held the position of Consul of Georgia in Rome between 2009 and 2013.

He previously served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia as Ambassador for Extraordinary Affairs and Counselor for Consular Affairs.

Vakhtang Andguladze entered the diplomatic service of Georgia in 1998.

Before entering the diplomatic service, Mr. Andguladze worked as an office manager for relations with the Scandinavian countries and the Netherlands at the Georgian Society for the Promotion of Cultural Relations with Third Countries, and as a Consultant at the Georgian Association promoter of relations with the USA.

EDUCATION

He holds a degree in History and Institutions of Middle Eastern Countries from Tbilisi State University. You carried out a research period at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Georgian Academy of Sciences.
